Who we are looking for
Our ideal candidate will have experience researching, planning, activating and optimising keyword strategies for the purpose of organic search.
As SEO and Content Manager / Senior SEO and Content Manager, you’ll have experience in all key pillars of SEO, from keyword research and strategy, through to content planning, technical audits and reporting. You’ll be comfortable working with different CMS platforms and have a sound understanding and demonstrable experience of Google’s reporting suite for SEO (including GA4, Data Studio and GSC).
You’ll have proven experience in driving clients’ organic search visibility and content performance through research, planning and activation across technical SEO and content.
The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and analytical ability, being confident and enthusiastic in delivering SEO recommendations for clients.
We are happy to consider candidates living outside of the North East who are happy to travel to our Newcastle office once a week.
Key Accountabilities:
- Delivering audience, competitor and product focused keyword research and strategies
- Delivering commercial and research-based SEO content strategies, understanding implications for GEO and related opportunities.
- Interpreting keyword insights for effective landing page keyword targeting
- Interpreting keyword insights for the creation of performance-driving editorial plans
- Monthly organic search performance and impact reporting
- Technical website auditing
- Day-to-day client communication
You should apply if you:
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment and interacting with different people on a daily basis
- Have experience in delivering SEO, and more recently GEO strategies, for a range of different industries and audiences
- Have experience in carrying out impactful technical audits, ideally with experience of using Screaming Frog
- Have an appetite to understand wider marketing considerations impacting content performance
- Have experience of building reports in Data Studio and creating data-driven reporting and insight
- Have experience of working directly with clients to present strategy and performance reviews
- Have a passion for innovating and continually improving the service delivered for your clients

Desirable experience, but not essential:
- You have understanding or proven experience aligning organic search strategy to the wider marketing funnel – including areas like paid search, ASO & social media strategy
- You have a good commercial understanding, able to speak to all stakeholder levels about the impact our work has on their bottom line.
- You have proven experience in GEO practices and keep up to date with the latest developments in AI search, able to knowledge share amongst your team
- You are comfortable with or have experience of integrating AI workflows into your daily work to improve efficiencies whilst maintaining a high-quality output
