About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded SEO Manager to join our growing team, working across a portfolio of exciting retail and ecommerce clients. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering SEO strategies that increase organic visibility, drive qualified traffic and ultimately contribute to client revenue and growth. This is a hands-on role combining strategic thinking, technical SEO, content optimisation and performance analysis. You’ll work closely with clients as well as internal teams across content, digital, paid media, creative and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver integrated SEO strategies for retail and ecommerce clients.
- Own day-to-day SEO activity across a portfolio of client accounts.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Carry out keyword research, competitor analysis and search landscape reviews.
- Develop content strategies aligned with customer journeys, search intent and commercial objectives.
- Optimise category, product and other key ecommerce landing pages.
- Monitor organic performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog.
- Produce clear, commercially focused performance reports and recommendations.
- Present SEO strategies, insights and results to clients and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with content, development, UX, paid media and wider digital teams.
- Keep up to date with Google algorithm changes, AI search developments and wider SEO trends.
- Support junior team members and contribute to best-practice SEO processes.

About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in an SEO Manager or similar role, ideally within an agency environment.
- Strong experience working with retail and ecommerce brands.
- A solid understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimisation, content strategy and digital PR/link acquisition.
- Experience working with ecommerce platforms and large or complex websites.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience using industry-standard SEO and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- A commercial mindset, with an understanding of how SEO contributes to traffic, conversions and revenue.
- A proactive approach and genuine enthusiasm for search, digital and emerging technologies.
