About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated SEO Specialist to join our vibrant team at Peopleforge Ltd. This hybrid role, based in Brentwood, Essex, offers an exciting opportunity to work across a portfolio of premium clients in sectors such as travel, hospitality, ecommerce, and B2B. As an integral part of our agency, you will be responsible for executing hands-on SEO activities, including keyword research, content optimization, technical audits, and website assessments. This position is ideal for individuals with agency experience who are eager to refine their technical and strategic SEO skills in a supportive environment. You will collaborate closely with SEO leads and wider delivery teams to translate strategies into actionable results, monitor performance metrics, and identify new opportunities to enhance rankings, traffic, and conversions. The role provides a clear pathway for progression into senior and leadership positions, supported by a dedicated training budget and structured development programs.

Qualifications

  • Proven agency experience in SEO
  • Solid understanding of on-page, technical, and content SEO fundamentals
  • Proficiency in crawling and assessing websites using tools such as Screaming Frog, Semrush, and Google Search Console
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for monitoring and reporting campaign performance
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to produce insightful reports and recommendations
  • Excellent written communication skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Experience working with clients in travel, hospitality, ecommerce, or B2B sectors is advantageous
  • Ability to commute to Brentwood and work in a hybrid setup, combining three days in the office with two days remote

Responsibilities

  • Execute hands-on SEO activities across multiple client accounts, including keyword research, content optimization, and competitor analysis.
  • Conduct website crawls and technical assessments to identify SEO issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support technical SEO audits and oversee the implementation of recommended fixes.
  • Monitor rankings, website traffic, and overall campaign performance using analytics tools.
  • Generate detailed reports and insights to inform strategy adjustments and demonstrate progress to clients.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to translate strategic recommendations into actionable tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure ongoing campaign success.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development initiatives to enhance SEO expertise.
