SEO SPECIALIST / SEO MANAGER – RELOCATE TO SYDNEY 🇦🇺

UK & Irish SEO specialists – fancy swapping the commute for Sydney?

Are you currently working agency side in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Dublin, Cork, Belfast or elsewhere across the UK & Ireland and thinking Sydney might be next?

We’re working with a leading Sydney Digital Agency looking for an experienced SEO Specialist / SEO Manager to join their growing search team.

Sydney (Hybrid Working)

  • Up to $110,000 + Super (approx. £55K / €65K)

ABOUT THE CLIENT

This is an established Digital Agency with a serious focus on organic search. They’re not standing still with traditional SEO either. The team is already evolving its approach across SEO, GEO and AEO, helping clients understand how search is changing as AI becomes an increasingly important part of discovery. They’re looking for someone who understands SEO properly, can think strategically and wants to build their career in Sydney for the long term.

THE SEO SPECIALIST / SEO MANAGER ROLE

You’ll work across a portfolio of clients, taking ownership of organic search strategies designed to drive genuine commercial results. We’re looking for someone who can go beyond rankings and traffic. You’ll understand technical SEO, content and authority, but you’ll also be interested in where the industry is heading and how Generative Engine Optimisation and Answer Engine Optimisation fit into modern organic search strategies. Depending on your level, you’ll have the opportunity to own client strategy, work closely with internal specialists and play a key role in developing the agency’s wider organic search offering.

SEO SPECIALIST / SEO MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Strong hands on SEO experience
  • Technical SEO knowledge
  • Keyword research and search intent analysis
  • Content strategy and on-page optimisation
  • Confident using platforms such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar
  • Comfortable analysing performance and turning data into actionable recommendations
  • Strong client communication skills
  • Agency experience would be highly advantageous
  • An understanding or genuine interest in GEO / AEO / AI Search
  • Commercial mindset – you understand SEO needs to deliver more than traffic
