About MediWorks
MediWorks Digital is a specialist digital marketing agency working exclusively with private medical clinics and healthcare professionals in the UK. Our clients include ophthalmology clinics on Harley Street, private diagnostics providers, and breast surgery practices. We handle Organic search, paid search, and web development for them.
The agency runs lean and principal-led. There is no account management layer between you and the work, and no layer between you and the client either. What you recommend is what gets built, and you see results within a month.
The Role
This is a delivery role. You will own the hands-on execution of Organic search work across a portfolio of clinic accounts, covering technical, on-page, and content.
Healthcare is a harder category than most. Everything we publish sits under YMYL scrutiny, competes against the NHS and against clinic aggregators with far bigger budgets, and has to satisfy UK advertising rules on medical claims. You do not need to arrive knowing that regulatory landscape. You do need to be the kind of person who wants to learn it properly rather than work around it.
You will report directly to the founder and have a genuine say in how accounts are run.
What Success Looks Like in the first 90 Days
- Take full ownership of day-to-day Organic delivery on three to four assigned accounts.
- Ship technical fixes, on-page work, and content briefs to a standard that needs no rework.
- Run monthly client reporting end to end, including the performance commentary, not just the numbers.
- Understand the UK private healthcare market well enough to spot a competitor gap without being pointed at it.
- Identify and raise at least one meaningful opportunity per account that nobody asked you to look for.
- Work independently across a full account without daily check-ins.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on Organic search work across client accounts, spanning technical, on-page, and content tasks.
- Run technical crawls in Sitebulb, diagnose issues, prioritise them commercially, and see the fixes through to implementation.
- Carry out keyword research, competitor analysis, content audits, and page optimisation.
- Write and brief content for clinical service pages, working within UK rules on medical claims and evidence.
- Monitor performance in Google Search Console and GA4, and flag trends, risks, and opportunities before the client does.
- Build monthly client reports, including the analysis and the recommended next steps.
- Track visibility across AI Overviews and LLM answers alongside traditional rankings, and structure content so clinics get cited.
- Work directly with the founder on account strategy and contribute to where each account goes next.
- Keep every account moving without needing to be chased.
What we're looking for
- Three or more years of hands-on Organic search experience, ideally agency side.
- Strong grasp of technical, on-page, and content fundamentals, and the confidence to work out which of the three is actually the problem.
- Fluent written English. You will be writing content and reports read by UK consultant surgeons, so the standard is high.
- Comfortable using performance data to justify a recommendation rather than defaulting to best practice.
- An understanding of how search is changing, including AI Overviews, LLM visibility, and what it takes to be the source an AI answer cites.
- Attention to detail. In healthcare, a sloppy claim on a page is a regulatory problem, not just a quality problem.
- Genuinely self-managing. This is a small team, and there is nobody standing over you.

Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare, medical, or another regulated or YMYL category.
- Experience working with UK or other English-speaking clients.
- Familiarity with Sitebulb, Ahrefs, Semrush, GA4, Google Search Console, and WordPress.
- Some working knowledge of Google Ads, enough to understand how paid and Organic interact on an account.
- Basic HTML and CSS, enough to implement your own fixes rather than queue them behind a developer.
What we offer
- Fully remote, with flexibility over your hours as long as there is reasonable overlap with UK business hours.
- Direct access to the founder and to clients, with no account management layer in between.
- Real ownership of accounts rather than a queue of tickets.
- All tools and software paid for.
- A defined path into a senior or lead position as the agency grows. This is the second hire, not the twentieth.
Recruitment Process
- Short introductory call, around 30 minutes, covering your experience and how you work.
- Paid practical task using a real anonymised client scenario, followed by a call to walk through your thinking.
- Final conversation on terms and start date.
