About Mobas

Mobas is a strategic brand and marketing agency based in central Cambridge. We help ambitious organisations grow by creating brands that resonate, with creativity that connects and campaigns that convert. Our team covers audience insight, brand strategy, creative and digital marketing.

The role

We're hiring an SEO & Website Executive to grow our SEO capability and support our clients' websites after launch. It's a split role: half your time delivering SEO for retained clients, half keeping our growing website estate running smoothly, handling support requests, upgrades and upsell alongside our Client Services team.

It's a new role, created because our SEO work and client demand have both grown.

What you'll do

SEO (50%)

  • Deliver SEO for our retained clients, from technical audits through to on-page fixes, keyword and content planning, and monthly reporting
  • Build and roll out core SEO as part of every new website we launch
  • Support new-business proposals with SEO audits and recommendations
  • Work with our digital marketing team on organic content and support technical implementation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Website estate and support (50%)

  • Own our website support inbox day to day: triage, brief, estimate and complete requests, working through Client Services
  • Run our SLA and hosting programme, covering security updates, plugin renewals, subscriptions and quarterly SLA reports for clients
  • Spot and help close upsell opportunities: SLA and hosting upgrades, moving clients onto a plan, and post-launch aftercare
  • Handle QA, content population in WordPress and Elementor, and asset creation
  • Help with new site builds when needed, including some project management

What we're looking for

Most importantly, we need someone who takes ownership. You'll follow things up without being chased, flag problems before clients notice them, and use your own judgement to make decisions and recommendations on a client's behalf, keeping Client Services in the loop.

  • 2–3 years' experience in digital (either in an agency or in-house)
  • Hands-on experience of WordPress: comfortable with QA, content population and day-to-day site maintenance
  • Some website development or website project management experience is a strong plus
  • Confident with SEO tools such as Semrush or Ahrefs, and comfortable in Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager and GA4
  • Clear, confident communicator who can explain technical things simply to clients and colleagues
  • Organised and able to juggle a varied workload across several clients at once
