As a Server at Chartwell, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where residents and guests enjoy high-quality food and service. Your attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and dedication to customer service will help ensure every mealtime is a highlight of the day.
What You’ll Do
- Take and deliver tableside food and beverage orders
- Provide prompt, friendly service to residents and guests
- Prepare the dining room for service and clear tables according to Chartwell standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Ensure a safe and efficient dining environment
- Attend to residents' preferences and personal tastes with care and attentiveness
What You’ll Bring
- Server experience
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain—training provided)
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Enthusiasm for creating positive dining experiences
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Additional Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy items
- Manual dexterity to handle food service equipment
- Comfortable working in a hot dining room environment
- Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
