Job Title
My client is seeking an experienced Server Tooling & Orchestration Specialist to support and develop enterprise automation services within a highly governed infrastructure environment. The role will focus on the administration, support, and optimisation of Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (SCORCH), including runbook development, PowerShell automation, troubleshooting, and platform integrations. You'll work across ServiceNow, SCOM, Active Directory, and Entra ID to deliver and maintain automated operational workflows.

- Day Rate: £620pd inside via Umbrella
- Location: Remote / UK Based Contract
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 4 - 6-month contract

- Must have active SC clearance
- Experience supporting Microsoft SCORCH runbooks and automation services
- Runbook development, troubleshooting, PowerShell automation, and lifecycle management

Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, troubleshoot, and deploy SCORCH runbooks and PowerShell automation workflows for request fulfillment and operational automation.
- Manage integrations between SCORCH, ServiceNow, SCOM, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Teams, including REST API and OAuth connectivity.
- Diagnose and resolve complex automation, workflow, runbook, database, and integration issues, performing root cause analysis and service improvements.
- Support platform lifecycle management including patching, upgrades, capacity management, resilience testing, and releases.
- Work with SQL Server, monitoring tools, and event management solutions to support orchestration and automation platforms.
- Operate within an ITIL environment, supporting Incident, Change, Problem, and Release Management while maintaining SLA compliance and governance standards.
