A few things about Soundmouse and BMI
Soundmouse is the global standard for music cue sheet management and reporting, trusted by 25,000+ broadcast and music professionals worldwide, including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, NBC, the NFL, RTL, Sky, Sony, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros. Discovery. Our proprietary, industry-leading audio recognition technology identifies every music cue in broadcast content and submits compliant cue sheets to 40+ collecting societies globally, cutting admin time by 83%. We've been doing this since 2001.
In June 2026, BMI, the world's leading performance rights organisation, acquired Soundmouse from Orfium. We operate independently as part of the BMI family, at an inflection point: established infrastructure, new backing, and a clear next chapter with global reach to build.
About the Role
The Service Account Manager will act as the main relationship and coordination point for UK-based clients using Soundmouse services across audio recognition, cue sheet processing, Silvermouse forms, MusicBox, society reporting, and related operational workflows. The role requires a strong understanding of client-specific service arrangements, platform behaviour, reporting obligations, SLAs, and internal delivery processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
