GMP Recruitment Agency Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for a Temporary Service Administrator to join their busy Service Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting customers and colleagues, and keeping systems and processes running smoothly.
The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support across the Service Team, ensuring records are accurate, customer requirements are dealt with efficiently and additional cover is provided during periods of holiday, sickness and other absence.
The Role
As Temporary Service Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and updating information within the company's ERP system
- Supporting the Service Team with customer enquiries and day-to-day administration
- Developing an understanding of service contracts to ensure work is delivered at the correct time and location
- Maintaining accurate equipment records, including ownership, descriptions, locations and invoice details
- Processing customer orders and supporting the wider administration team
- Booking appointments and coordinating service requirements
- Preparing and raising customer quotations
- Ordering spare parts
- Chasing outstanding parts and late orders to help ensure goods are dispatched quickly and efficiently
- Providing administrative cover for colleagues during periods of absence
- Working in accordance with company health & safety, quality and internal procedures

What We're Looking For
We would particularly like to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous administration experience
- Experience working with an ERP system or similar business management software
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- A conscientious and thorough approach to work
- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
- Good problem-solving skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude
