Service Administrator

We are looking for a talented Service Administrator to join our team specializing in Service for our Power GenService Operations Admin Department in Leeds, United Kingdom.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, creating a positive and professional experience that strengthens customer relationships and trust in the branch.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests both in person and over the phone.
  • Assess customer needs effectively and gather accurate information to ensure the right solutions and services are provided.
  • Create and process work orders accurately within company systems, supporting efficient service delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Provide timely updates on job progress and service status, keeping customers informed and improving overall satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contributing to customer retention and long-term business growth.
  • Support branch revenue growth by identifying customer needs and promoting relevant products and services where appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication, efficient operations, and a consistently positive customer experience.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Strong service coordination and planning skills to effectively manage preventative maintenance, inspections, and reactive repair activities while ensuring contractual response times and customer expectations are consistently met.
  • Customer relationship and communication expertise to serve as the primary point of contact for Cost by Hour and Gas Generator customers, providing proactive updates, managing expectations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Commercial and operational awareness to support effective service delivery, monitor contract performance, track KPIs and SLAs, and identify opportunities to improve asset performance and contract profitability.
  • Collaboration and stakeholder management skills to work closely with Sales, Service Operations, Technical Support, and other internal teams to coordinate service delivery, support contract renewals, and identify additional service opportunities.
  • A strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards by proactively identifying risks, supporting safety initiatives, completing required safety observations, and ensuring all service activities comply with Cummins safety policies and procedures.

Education/ Experience

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
  • SAP experience or knowledge preferred.
