We are currently seeking a diligent and organised Service Administrator to join our Milton Keynes office and play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence.
The Role
As a Service Administrator, you will be the backbone of our service operations, providing vital administrative support that enables our engineers and customer service teams to deliver outstanding results. Your role will be essential in coordinating service requests, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule service appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely response to customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, work orders, and customer communications using company systems.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of service reports and documentation to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide first-line support to customers by handling enquiries promptly via phone and email.
- Liaise with engineers and other departments to facilitate smooth service delivery and resolve any administrative issues.
- Manage inventory and order parts necessary for service operations, keeping stock levels up to date.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on service processes and customer experiences.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications And Skills
- Previous experience in a service administration or customer support role, preferably within the Retail or technology sectors.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning new software systems.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of stock control and ordering processes is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of technical products or service environments is desirable but not essential.
