Wollaston Motors - Northampton
£32,653 basic salary + £6,000 OTE bonus | Stretch bonus gives salary potential up to £45,000pa

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and wants to build a rewarding career within the automotive industry.
As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between our customers and our workshop team. You'll ensure every customer receives a professional, friendly and seamless experience - from booking their vehicle in, through to collection.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming customers and providing a warm, professional first point of contact
- Booking vehicles into the workshop and accurately recording customer requirements
- Discussing servicing, maintenance and repair requirements with customers
- Preparing and explaining estimates and keeping customers informed throughout the repair process
- Liaising closely with technicians and the workshop team to ensure work is completed efficiently
- Providing regular updates to customers regarding the progress of their vehicle
- Advising customers on additional work or maintenance requirements identified during inspections
- Ensuring all customer expectations are managed and met
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all work is invoiced correctly
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience at every stage.

About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within automotive aftersales
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Has a strong attention to detail
- Is commercially aware and confident discussing costs and additional work with customers
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
- Is a positive team player with a professional approach
- Has a genuine interest in the automotive industry

Previous Service Advisor or automotive aftersales experience is highly desirable, but we're also interested in hearing from candidates with strong customer service and communication skills who are looking to develop their career in automotive.
