Location: St Philip's, Bristol
Salary: £29,741 per annum + Monthly Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, plus 1 in 3 weekends 8:30am – 12:30pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About The Role
We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Service Advisor to join a busy automotive aftercare team based in St Philip's, Bristol.
This is a varied customer service role where you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping to arrange bookings, provide updates and support customers throughout their aftercare journey.
You will enjoy speaking with people, be confident handling a busy workload and have the ability to identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers via telephone and in person
- Answering customer enquiries and providing a high level of customer service
- Booking vehicles in for servicing, repairs and other aftercare requirements
- Greeting customers and ensuring they receive a professional and welcoming experience
- Providing customers with updates on the progress of their vehicle or booking
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure work is completed efficiently
- Explaining recommended work, products and services to customers
- Identifying opportunities to upsell additional products and services
- Providing advice and basic technical support to customers where required
- Handling customer queries and resolving any issues in a professional manner
- Maintaining accurate customer and booking records
- Supporting the wider team with general administration and other duties as required

About You
- Previous customer service, service advisor or automotive experience would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers both over the phone and face-to-face
- Confident working in a busy and fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach with good organisational skills
- Comfortable recommending additional products and services to customers
- Able to provide clear advice and support to customers
- A positive, professional and customer-focused attitude
