Role Overview

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our busy Service Department. You will provide administrative support to the Service Manager, ensuring the efficient operation of the service office, while acting as a vital link between our customers and technicians. You’ll ensure clear and accurate communication throughout the repair and maintenance process for agricultural, construction and groundcare machinery, helping to deliver excellent customer experience.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Ideally have experience working within a Service Department, or a good understanding of service operations. Experience within the agricultural, construction, horticultural or automotive industries would be advantageous.
  • Manage existing customer accounts while developing strong relationships with new and existing customers, delivering a high standard of service and meeting a wide range of customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records, including the preparation of job cards, liaising with the Parts Department to ensure the timely completion of repairs, and working with the Warranty Department to ensure compliance.
  • Deliver an excellent standard of customer service at all times.
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence, as occasional travel to customer sites using a company vehicle may be required to collect or return equipment.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Be able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Show enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude when engaging with customers and colleagues.
  • Be flexible and willing to work within both an office and workshop environment.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to support the smooth running of the Service Department.
  • Demonstrate confidence in making decisions and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
