Service Advisor

Brighton
Permanent | Full-Time
Up to £38,000 OTE (Uncapped) | £32,000 Basic Salary
42 Hours per Week

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 6:00pm, plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy and successful Aftersales team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a professional dealership environment, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth operation of the service department. You will play a key role in building strong customer relationships, coordinating workshop bookings, and ensuring every customer receives a first-class experience.

Working closely with the Aftersales Manager and wider team, you will receive ongoing training and development opportunities, with clear potential for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Book MOTs, servicing, maintenance, and repair work for customers
  • Advise customers on warranty coverage, repairs, and vehicle maintenance
  • Identify and promote additional products, services, parts, and accessories where appropriate
  • Liaise with technicians and the wider Aftersales team to schedule work efficiently
  • Manage a high volume of customer enquiries via phone, email, online bookings, and face-to-face interactions
  • Keep customers updated on vehicle progress, repair status, and completion timescales
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems accordingly
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience from vehicle drop-off through to collection

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or within a similar automotive aftersales role
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive, proactive, and team-focused approach
  • Confidence using dealership and customer management systems
  • Experience with Kerridge, ADP, or similar dealer management systems is desirable
  • A genuine passion for customer service and the automotive industry
