At Vertu Kia & MG Edinburgh, we are looking for a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our successful and established Aftersales team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of the UK's leading automotive retail groups, representing an innovative and award-winning brand while delivering exceptional customer experiences and building a rewarding long-term career.

About The Role

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle service and repair journey. You'll play a vital role in ensuring every customer receives a professional, friendly, and efficient experience from the moment they arrive through to vehicle collection.

Working closely with customers, technicians, and the workshop team, you'll manage expectations, provide regular updates, identify additional service opportunities, and ensure outstanding customer satisfaction at every stage.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Welcoming customers and understanding their service and repair requirements
  • Managing customer expectations throughout the vehicle's time in the workshop
  • Liaising with technicians to provide accurate progress updates
  • Identifying and recommending additional products and services where appropriate
  • Handling customer enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
  • Following up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Supporting departmental targets while delivering exceptional customer care

About You

We're looking for someone with previous automotive customer service experience who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment.

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Have

  • Previous experience within the automotive industry, ideally as a Service Advisor
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A strong customer-focused approach
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A proactive and professional attitude

Experience using dealership management systems would be advantageous, but full training will be provided where required.
