£32,653 basic salary | OTE £44,653 per annum

North Oxford Garage is looking for a confident, organised and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy team.

As the key link between our customers and workshop technicians, you will ensure every customer receives a professional, friendly and efficient service throughout their vehicle's visit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and discuss their servicing and repair requirements
  • Book vehicles into the workshop and coordinate appointments
  • Provide clear updates on work, costs and completion times
  • Prepare accurate estimates, invoices and other service documentation
  • Liaise closely with technicians, parts colleagues and other departments
  • Explain any additional work identified and obtain customer authorisation
  • Promote relevant products and services in a helpful, customer-focused way
  • Handle enquiries and resolve concerns professionally
  • Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records
  • Help the department achieve its customer satisfaction and commercial targets

About You

You will be a strong communicator who enjoys helping customers and working as part of a busy team. You should be able to manage several priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in an automotive customer service role would be an advantage. However, we would also welcome applications from candidates with strong customer service experience and an interest in the motor industry.

Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm
  • Contracted hours: 47.5 hours per week
  • Saturdays: 8:00am-1:00pm on a rota, approximately one in four

Salary

  • Basic salary: £32,653 per annum
  • On-target earnings: £44,653 per annum
