Role Description

The Service Advisor role is a full-time, on-site position based at Newcastle Audi in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Service Advisor will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service, maintenance, and repairs.

  • Greeting customers
  • Accurately recording service requirements
  • Preparing job cards
  • Coordinating with technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently

The role involves:

  • Explaining service work and costs
  • Providing updates
  • Arranging vehicle collection
  • Handling payments in a clear and professional manner

The Service Advisor will also support aftersales activities, manage bookings, respond to inquiries via phone and email, and work to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-focused service skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering a positive experience.
  • Excellent Communication abilities, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers, colleagues, and technicians.
  • Understanding of Aftersales processes, including service bookings, follow-up, and supporting ongoing customer relationships.
  • Prior experience in an automotive service or retail environment is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and service management software. Kerridge, RTC Knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Organizational skills and a professional, approachable manner.
