Location: Bury St. Edmunds
Salary: Up to £30,000 basic + uncapped bonus
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday with 1:2 Saturdays
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service, onsite parking

ISQ Recruitment is recruiting for a Service Advisor to join a well-established automotive business in Bury St. Edmunds. This opportunity offers a customer-focused motor trade professional a varied aftersales role, with a basic salary up to £30,000 and additional earning potential through an uncapped bonus scheme.
The Role
You will be the main point of contact for customers booking their vehicles in for servicing, maintenance, and repairs. Working closely with the workshop, you will keep customers informed, explain recommended work clearly, and help deliver a smooth experience from booking through to collection.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage service bookings and arrange appointments around workshop availability.
- Welcome customers and accurately record vehicle concerns and requirements.
- Prepare job cards and communicate instructions to the workshop team.
- Provide progress updates, explain repair recommendations, and obtain authorization for additional work.
- Discuss relevant service and maintenance options based on customer needs.
- Prepare invoices and explain completed work when customers collect their vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records and handle enquiries professionally.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive aftersales role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Confidence explaining servicing and repair requirements in straightforward terms.
- Good organisation and the ability to manage several bookings at once.
- A proactive approach to resolving customer queries.
- Confidence using computer systems and maintaining accurate records.

What's on Offer
- Basic salary up to £30,000, depending on experience.
