Job Summary

Join the passionate team at GQ Car Storage as a Service Advisor, where enthusiasm and a customer-focused mindset will drive exceptional service experiences. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance, repairs and upgrades, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Your proactive approach will help build lasting relationships, promote additional services, and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Duties

  • Clear communication with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
  • Explain repair recommendations clearly, providing detailed information on services required and available options
  • Sell additional maintenance or repair services that enhance vehicle performance and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with trusted technicians to prioritise repairs, ensuring timely completion of work
  • Handle invoicing accurately, including detailed descriptions
  • Follow up with customers end to end throughout the service journey to ensure satisfaction and address questions or concerns

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
  • Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with vehicle systems to effectively communicate with customers and technicians*
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Experience invoicing on QuickBooks*
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in automotive service or related fields*
  • Full UK driving license

The ideal candidate needs to be either a huge petrolhead, have a proven track record in and around vehicles, customer service and or hospitality and simply have a credible caring way about them. Strong attention to detail, collaborative and highly organised are further key attributes here.
