Service Advisor

Location: Richmond, North Yorkshire

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Basic (Depending on Experience) + Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

The Opportunity

Pybus Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor on behalf of a well-established automotive dealership in the Richmond area of North Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused automotive professional looking to join a busy and successful aftersales team. The role offers a competitive basic salary of between £30,000 and £35,000, depending on experience. Candidates joining at the lower end of the salary scale will have the opportunity to earn an additional £5,000 bonus, while those appointed at the higher end will receive a more limited bonus structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout the service and repair process
  • Booking vehicles into the workshop for servicing, maintenance, and repair work
  • Keeping customers updated on vehicle progress and any additional work required
  • Preparing job cards and ensuring all customer and vehicle information is accurately recorded
  • Liaising closely with technicians and the workshop team to ensure efficient workflow
  • Managing customer queries and resolving any issues professionally and promptly
  • Promoting additional products and services where appropriate
  • Ensuring exceptional levels of customer service are maintained at all times

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry is essential
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Confident user of dealership management systems
  • A professional and positive attitude with a genuine focus on customer satisfaction
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
