About The Role
Service Advisor / Showroom Host – Honda - Wakefield
We are looking for a Service Advisor / Showroom Host to join our Honda dealership in Wakefield. This customer-focused role requires you to welcome customers into the showroom, provide clear guidance and excellent service, helping them make informed decisions and build lasting relationships.
Essentials (You Must Have)
- Minimum 1 year experience in automotive customer service or customer-facing motor trade role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Sales mindset with ability to promote service plans and value-added products
- Organised and proactive with attention to detail
- Full driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet customers and visitors in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
- Provide clear explanations of work required and manufacturer recommendations
- Discuss vehicle health check findings and support informed customer decisions
- Promote service plans and aftersales solutions to enhance customer loyalty
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely, high-quality repairs
- Offer refreshments and ensure customers are comfortable during their visit
- Manage courtesy cars, bookings, and customer communications
- Maintain excellent product knowledge and brand standards
- Achieve individual and team targets across service and sales metrics
- Maintain excellent showroom presentation standards at all times, ensuring a clean, organised, and welcoming environment

About You
- Experience in automotive service or customer-facing motor trade role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Sales awareness with ability to identify customer opportunities
- A professional, well-presented, and approachable manner.
- Highly organised and detail-focused
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when handling administrative tasks.
- Customer-first mindset
- Full UK driving licence
