At Fish Brothers, we’ve been helping the people of Swindon with their motoring needs for more than 75 years. As a multi-franchise dealer group, we’re proud of our strong reputation, but it’s our people who make the real difference. We believe in creating a supportive and rewarding workplace where talent can thrive, and where going the extra mile for our customers comes naturally. Many of our team have built long and successful careers with us and now we’re looking for the next person to join our journey.

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor who will be based at our purpose built VW Group Service Centre on Hawksworth Industrial Estate.

Working in a busy department, you will be the main point of contact for our service customers ensuring that customers are called in advance of their visit to confirm attendance. On arrival you will take them through all the necessary paperwork, ensuring that all the technical terms are explained clearly. After this, your role will be to set expectations with the customer and keep them updated throughout the repair of their vehicle. When the work is complete you will be responsible for taking payment and selling any additional products that may be of benefit to the customer which can include retention products.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
