Multiskilled Service Advisor / Administrator
We are seeking a multiskilled Service Advisor / Administrator to join our busy van service centre. This is a varied role where you will switch regularly between warranty administration, invoicing, and front-desk customer service, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service department.
Working in a clean, new office environment, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll rotate across key service functions, ensuring excellent customer care, accurate administration, and efficient workshop coordination.
Salary: £28,080 per annum - negotiable dependent on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, Flexible working hours within an 8am–6pm window, i.e. 40 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch (unpaid).
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rotate between warranty processing, service invoicing, and front-desk duties as required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, both face-to-face and via phone, email, and online portals.
- Process service bookings, job cards, order numbers, invoices, warranty claims, and customer quotations.
- Support daily workshop scheduling, monitor process and workflow ensuring customers are updated.
- Liaise with Workshop controller and Workshop Supervisor and provide administrative support to the workshop team.
- Verify customer and contract requirements before work is allocated.
- Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR, Health & Safety, and quality standards.
- Identify service or process issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Participate in training and support wider service department needs.

Ideally, we are looking for:
- A strong customer service background with a professional, approachable manner.
- Ability to multitask and switch confidently between different responsibilities.
- High attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
- Motor industry or service department experience preferred but not essential as training will be given.
- Familiarity with vehicle booking systems would be an advantage.
- A proactive team player who communicates clearly and works with respect.
