General summary

M Seals UK Ltd is a part of the M Seals group, owned by Diploma PLC, an international group of businesses supplying technical sealing products. M Seals specialise in the specification and supply of O-rings, moulded parts, PTFE products and shaft seals to leading industrial OEMs in Oil & Gas, Valve & Pump, Aerospace, Food, Pharma industries. M Seals have operations in UK, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Finland and China. M Seals UK Ltd employs 35 staff over three UK sites.

Position summary

The Service and aftersales Account Manager is responsible for maximizing sales by closing business on an ongoing basis; meeting the company’s growth strategy and customer target objectives; in doing so you will negotiate with existing accounts for contract renewals; maintaining contracts and performing other tasks needed to ensure customer satisfaction. The role compromises of working as part of a team and as an individual. Offering support to the company, as well as support to colleagues, reporting to the Service and aftersales Manager.

Role location & resources

The Service and Aftersales Administrator is based in the Group’s Leicester Facility (Enderby).

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Liaise with customers in a sales environment to drive product sales and knowledge
  • Demonstrates advanced products knowledge
  • Adheres to any and all company policies and procedures
  • Liaise with other key staff to make sure that product is available
  • Follows up with any clients to make sure that they are satisfied with product
  • Uses social media to push products to a given target market (LinkedIn)
  • Maximising target markets
  • Demonstrates advanced sales knowledge
  • Always looks for new ways to make products attractive to customers
  • All of which overseen by the Service Manager
  • In addition to working within the Sales office, responsible for providing support within Inspection when time allows
