Aberlink Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Service and Application Engineer to support their range of metrology products throughout the UK.
This position will offer a varied and challenging role with significant responsibility, including:
- Repair service and calibration of Aberlink CMMs
- Potential overseas travel supporting foreign agents and training customers if these additional aspects of the job appeal.
Location: Based in Eastcombe near Stroud, in Gloucestershire, you will be required to travel extensively within the UK.

Requirements:
- Previous CMM experience would be advantageous, although not essential, as full training would be given.
- A good understanding of mechanical engineering and problem solving.
- Some knowledge of motion control would also be useful.
- Due to the nature of the position, this is not a 9-5 role. It will also require good communication skills to create the right impression as the face of Aberlink.
- Other roles could include assisting with the set up and break down of exhibitions, and the ability to perform demonstrations of the equipment to potential customers.
- A full driving licence will be essential.
