Service and Commissioning Engineer (Automated Machinery)

Cambridge
Up to £60,000 + In-House Training + Enhanced Pension + 25 Days + Bank Holidays + Paid Travel + Overseas Travel

Are you a Service or Commissioning Engineer, or both, from a manufacturing or machinery background, looking for a varied and exciting role, at a worldwide renowned manufacturer of bespoke machinery and automated equipment, who since their creation five decades ago have grown to be an industry leader in their field?

Do you want to work in a role where you can serve as the technical expert for diverse installation, commissioning, and maintenance projects? In this position, you will work hands-on with bespoke machinery including automated assembly lines and robotic handling systems while enjoying comprehensive in-house training from industry experts, an enhanced pension scheme, and an excellent benefits package.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Providing company clients and staff with on-site and remote machinery support during the installation phase
  • Installing and commissioning a variety of bespoke, purpose-built machinery
  • Planned and reactive maintenance and servicing of existing machines
  • Travel to client sites nationwide and worldwide, 50/50 split between workshop and field work

The Person

  • Service or Commissioning Engineer, or both, from a machinery background
  • Full UK Driving license
  • Happy to travel nationwide as well as worldwide to customer sites
  • Commutable distance to Cambridge
