Service, Network & Field Operations Portfolio Director

The Service, Network & Field Operations Portfolio Director is responsible for the MSN portfolio section covering Network Operations and Field Operations services. The position ensures that these core managed services offerings are competitive, standardized, clearly documented and aligned with EOE, MSDP and ANO capabilities and SA MSN delivery practices.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the portfolio of MSN Network Operations and Field Operations services, including standard service descriptions, SLAs, value propositions and pricing principles.
  • Identify new service opportunities and evolution needs in Network Operations and Field Operations based on customer requirements, operational feedback and market trends.
  • Ensure that Network Operations and Field Operations offerings are aligned with EOE operating model, MSDP capabilities and ANO roadmap, in coordination with BPD Capabilities Development and AI Innovation.
  • Support MA/CU Sales and MSCOOs with portfolio content, positioning and bid support for Network Operations and Field Operations opportunities.
  • Manage alignment with SA CNS on the complimentary Network Optimization scope offered alongside the MSN scope for service operations.
  • Provide structured feedback from customers and delivery units into portfolio evolution plans and roadmap decisions.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns, communications and industry events.

Role Authority

  • Propose and recommend service definitions and changes within Network and Field Operations portfolio to BPD and SA MSN governance.
  • Access relevant customer, operational and financial data necessary to manage and evolve the portfolio.
  • Initiate cross-functional initiatives to improve Network and Field Operations portfolio competitiveness.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Education: University degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Typically 8+ years in managed services operations (network and/or field), service design or portfolio/product management.
  • Skills: Strong technical and operational understanding of network and field operations; service design; business and commercial acumen. Excellent communications skills including at industry events and with industry executives and analysts.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • A good demonstrated working knowledge of the Ericsson Operations Engine
  • Knowledge of the BCSS business development process for Product Management
  • Knowledge of the Ericsson sales process
  • Adept at using AI for workplace productivity
