Job Title
We are a Large Multi-Million pound turnover Dairy Engineering and Farm Solution business, established for over 40 years now and support 250+ customers across Cheshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire.
Due to a growing customer base and some exciting new project wins for new installs in automated milking systems (Robots) and Conventional (Rotary's, Herringbones etc), we have an opening for Permanent Service and Install Engineers in our Dairy Farm Technology team.
About the Role
The role of the dairy engineer is a varied and rewarding one, with key responsibilities including:
- Support Automatic Milking (Robot) and conventional rotary and herringbone milking installations
- Through the use of hand and power tools, undertake tasks as required such as building farm technology products to specifications, installing pipework, wiring etc
- Conduct Dairy Parlour and Milking Robot servicing and plant testing.
- Undertake repair and maintenance activities.
- Provide an excellent service to our customers.
- Support colleagues in a professional and positive manner.

Requirements
We are looking for either experience of the farm environment or cross transferable practical/software skills in either Mechanical or Electrical disciplines. If you don't have milking equipment engineering experience you should be competent and skilled in an area that can easily transfer your skills to the role of a dairy engineer. Our senior engineers will provide training and support.
Our Head Office is near Leek/Biddulph but most of the work you undertake will be at our customer sites so you will need to be prepared to travel to farm locations around Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire or Shropshire as required.
