Its in-house team delivers software development for automation and control applications, ensuring integrated and reliable systems. Bespoke Control Systems Ltd. also offers nationwide 24/7 service and support, providing responsive assistance and maintenance to customers across the country.

Role Description

The Service and Support Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in Crowland, with some flexibility for working from home. The person in this role will diagnose and resolve technical issues for automation systems, providing remote and on-site support to customers as needed. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs
  • Documenting service activities and findings
  • Communicating directly with customers to address service requests

Collaboration with the engineering and software teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to product improvements is also part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Support and Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, build relationships, and ensure positive client experiences.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for automation systems, control panels, and various related software including, but not limited to: TIA Portal & Studio 5000.
  • Experience in Field Service, including on-site diagnostics, repairs, and commissioning of industrial control equipment.
  • Sound understanding of electrical and control systems; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in engineering, automation, electronics, or a related discipline.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a hybrid environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationwide for field service work.
