Position Description

Help shape the future of IT services.

As a Service Architect at CGI, you'll design innovative service solutions that improve user experiences, strengthen operations, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Working across major transformation programmes, you'll help clients modernise their IT services while influencing strategy, driving continuous improvement, and delivering lasting value.

You'll have the freedom to shape solutions, collaborate with talented colleagues, and develop your career within a supportive environment where your ideas and expertise make a real difference.

CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK Best Employer by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus our share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching), making you a CGI Partner, not just an employee.

We're committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive, including members of the Armed Forces community. As a Gold Award holder of the Armed Forces Covenant, we're proud to support those who serve.

This is a hybrid role.

Your future duties and responsibilities

You'll work with clients to design, assure, and continuously improve IT services that support business transformation and operational excellence. From shaping service strategies to supporting major service transitions, you'll play a key role in delivering successful outcomes while working alongside multidisciplinary teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
