At Flagship Services, we're committed to helping people thrive by ensuring our customers have safe, reliable heating and hot water in their homes, and we're looking for an experienced Service & Breakdown Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service across our properties.

Due to some exciting changes to our service provision we're currently recruiting for multiple roles across multiple areas, including: NR, CO, CB, IP, postcodes and surrounding areas.

Hours: Full Time - 40 hpw Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent + company van and tools

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on heating systems across a range of homes. Working independently, you'll manage both planned and reactive work while ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic heating systems.
  • Diagnosing faults and delivering effective first-time fixes.
  • Completing safety checks, certifications and accurate documentation.
  • Providing an excellent customer experience in every home you visit.
  • Participating in the on-call rota to support emergency repairs.
  • Managing vehicle stock, materials and equipment effectively.
  • Working safely in line with Gas Safe, OFTEC and company procedures.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with outstanding customer service.

You'll have:

  • Proven experience in heating and plumbing maintenance, servicing and repairs.
  • Current ACS and domestic gas qualifications including: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1 and CMDDA1.
  • Water Regulations (WREG) qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
