Service Catalogue Manager

Rate: £500 per day INSIDE
Location: Manchester | Hybrid (60% office / 40% remote)
Contract Length: Feb 2027
Clearance Requirement: BPSS Eligible

Your new company

You will be joining a large-scale IT environment supporting the management and continuous improvement of IT service offerings. This opportunity is focused on ensuring the IT service catalogue remains accurate, accessible and aligned to business requirements.

Your new role

As a Service Catalogue Manager, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and ongoing optimisation of the IT service catalogue. You will collaborate with service owners, IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure service information is accurate, relevant and readily available to users.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and manage the IT service catalogue.
  • Ensure all services are accurately documented and appropriately categorised.
  • Engage with service owners, business units and key stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Maintain service descriptions, SLAs and related documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance catalogue usability and relevance.
  • Deliver training and support to catalogue users.
  • Develop reporting and metrics to measure service catalogue effectiveness and usage.
  • Ensure the catalogue reflects current service offerings and business needs.

Essential skills and experience

  • Experience with service catalogue management tools.
  • Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and IT service management principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and software.
