Are you an experienced operations leader with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams and driving operational excellence?
We are looking for a dynamic Service Centre Manager to take ownership of a busy and fast-paced service centre, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and team performance.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful organisation where you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, leading a team of over 40 employees and playing a key role in driving continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
The Role
As Service Centre Manager, you will oversee all operational activities within the service centre, ensuring service levels, productivity targets, and quality standards are consistently achieved. You will be responsible for developing and motivating your team, managing budgets, improving processes, and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
You will act as a key liaison between customers, employees, and senior management, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services while identifying opportunities for operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of supervisors, team leaders, and operational staff.
- Drive operational performance, productivity, and service level agreements.
- Ensure customer requirements are met through effective planning and resource management.
- Monitor and improve KPI performance across quality, service, productivity, and cost.
- Manage warehousing, stock control, fleet operations, and site resources.
- Analyse operational data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead employee engagement, training, coaching, and performance management activities.
- Manage operational budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead change management projects and support business transformation initiatives.
- Resolve operational issues efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven management experience within operations, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, facilities management, or a service-led environment.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience implementing process improvements and driving efficiencies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive, resilient, and customer-focused approach.

Desirable
- Degree or professional qualification in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience leading large operational teams.
- Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Change Management experience.
