Service Charge Accountant | Commercial Property | Central London | £38,000 - £48,000

Our client, an established commercial property and asset management firm with a strong reputation in the sector, is looking for a Service Charge Accountant to join their team. The firm provides investment, asset and property management services predominantly across commercial property, working with investors, asset managers, and institutions across the UK and internationally.

The role

You will manage service charge accounting across a portfolio of commercial properties, working closely with property managers and clients to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and reconciliation of service charge budgets and year-end accounts
  • Managing service charge cash flow and arrears
  • Liaising with property managers, landlords, and tenants on service charge queries
  • Ensuring compliance with RICS Service Charge Code
  • Working within Qube to manage accounting processes across the portfolio

About you

  • Proven experience in commercial property service charge accounting
  • Working knowledge of Qube essential
  • Strong understanding of RICS Service Charge Code
  • Accurate, organised, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
  • Part qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) desirable but not essential
