Service Charge Accountant
We are working with a highly successful property management company who are seeking an experienced Service Charge Accountant to join their team in a sole-charge capacity, taking full ownership of the service charge accounting function across a varied property portfolio.
You will manage a varied property portfolio and work closely with property managers, clients and tenants, taking ownership of the service charge accounting process.
The role offers generous holidays and onsite parking.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing service charge budgets and year-end accounts
- Reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- Managing sinking/reserve funds and major works
- Preparing service charge demands and maintaining accurate accounts
- Handling client and tenant queries
- Financial reporting and bank reconciliations
- Review supplier invoices and code expenditure accurately
- Produce financial reports for property managers and clients

Key Requirements
- 4–5+ years' property management experience
- Hands-on Qube MRI experience – Essential
- Strong service charge accounting background
- Good Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confident dealing with clients and tenants
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines independently
