Join our Finance Team at Salix Homes
This is a 24-month fixed term contract role within the finance team and will manage and deliver on the Service Charge Project at Salix Homes.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong knowledge of the social housing sector and service charges to lead a comprehensive review of our service charge arrangements. You will work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders across the organisation to identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen processes and support better financial outcomes for both Salix Homes and our customers.
The Role - What I Will Be Doing?
- A root and branch review of service charges with the intended outcome to reduce the annual deficit Salix currently faces
- Develop relationships with multiple stakeholders inside and outside of the organisation
- Create and maintain essential project documentation and plans
- Report progress on resources, scope, and timeline to stakeholders

What We’re Looking For
- A finance professional who is driven to improve services and self-motivated.
- An effective communicator who can provide financial advice and guidance at all levels.
- Strong service charge experience in the Social Housing sector

- Annual Salary of £51,928 up to £54,143
