Are you a Service Manager or Plant Hire professional with experience in heavy plant looking to join a well-established, family-run business that has been operating successfully for over 40 years?

In this role, you will manage the maintenance and servicing of the company's plant fleet, coordinate regulatory inspections including LOLER and PUWER requirements, allocate work to engineers, arrange breakdowns and repairs, order parts, and ensure machinery is ready to meet customer demand. You will also liaise with customers and engineers, oversee workshop operations, and support the wider hire desk administration.

The Role:

  • Managing maintenance and servicing requirements for the plant fleet
  • Scheduling breakdowns, repairs and regulatory inspections
  • Overseeing workshop engineers and allocating workloads
  • Ordering parts and maintaining stock levels
  • Processing workshop administration and compliance documentation
  • Liaising with customers and resolving damage or service issues

Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm

The Person:

  • Experience within Plant Hire, Heavy Plant or a similar industry
  • Previous Service Manager or supervisory experience
  • Full UK driving licence
