Location
Remote: but based within 1hrs travel of Grantham so that you can attend in-person meetings as required.
Purpose of the Role
To manage and develop the charity's mentoring programme, ensuring mentors, mentees and volunteers receive a high-quality experience while maintaining excellent safeguarding standards and compliance.
The postholder will oversee mentor and beneficiary onboarding, manage mentor matching, and support the continued growth of the mentoring programme. Mentoring forms a key area of the Charity’s service offering. The postholder will also manage the Learning Management System and handle any administrative tasks required to ensure programmes are delivered effectively to the beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities
Mentoring Programme Management
- Onboard and support mentors.
- Conduct mentor induction calls.
- Manage mentor matching processes.
- Monitor mentor-mentee relationships.
- Coordinate regular relationship reviews.
- Maintain engagement and retention of mentors.
- Facilitate introductions to specialist mentors where required.
- Develop mentor communications and resources.
- Support expansion of the mentor network.

Beneficiary Management
- Onboard beneficiaries.
- Conduct welcome 121 calls and risk assessments.
- Maintain regular communication with participants.
- Support beneficiary engagement throughout programmes.
- Liaise with referral and partner organisations.
Volunteer Management
- Support volunteer onboarding processes.
- Collect references and required documentation.
- Coordinate DBS checks.
- Ensure policy compliance.
Learning Management System
- Administer the Learning Management System, which is currently TalentLMS.
- Manage users and permissions.
- Monitor learner engagement and completion.
- Generate regular reports and insights.
- Ensure high-quality learner experiences.
Programme Support
- Support wider administration across programmes and organisational output.
- Coordinate CPD accreditation processes.
- Support programme launches.
- Monitor beneficiary and mentor outcomes and engagement.
CRM and Data
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records.
- Record mentoring and mentee outcomes and participant engagement.
- Support reporting requirements.

Person Specification
Essential
- Experience in a customer/stakeholder facing role
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
- Experience managing mentoring, volunteering or youth, or any similar programmes.
- Experience handling safeguarding responsibilities.
- DSL qualification or willingness to obtain.
- Experience with Salesforce specifically.
- Experience within education, employability, youth or charitable sectors.
- Understanding of volunteer management best practice.
