Company Description
At SWARCO, we are committed to shaping the future of smart mobility and sustainable transport solutions. We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Service Co-Ordinator to join our Evolt Charging team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating multiple priorities, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in ensuring field service activities are planned and executed efficiently whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and contractual compliance.
Challenge
As a Service Co-Ordinator, you will:
- Plan and coordinate field service activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Schedule maintenance, repair, and service visits across the engineering team.
- Allocate work orders and resources to field service engineers.
- Coordinate engineers, parts, and equipment to meet operational requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and support.
- Ensure contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved and maintained.
- Maintain accurate records across service management and customer systems.
- Support the wider Service team in delivering a professional and efficient customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Service Coordination
- Schedule planned maintenance, repairs, and reactive service visits.
- Allocate work orders to field service engineers based on availability, location, and priority.
- Coordinate technicians, parts, and equipment to support service delivery.
- Ensure preventative maintenance activities and RCD testing are completed in line with annual schedules.
Customer Service
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries.
- Keep customers informed regarding service progress and upcoming visits.
- Share completed service reports and documentation with customers.
- Manage customer expectations and provide excellent service at all times.
- Support achievement of contractual SLA requirements.

Administration
- Raise, manage, and close service tasks across internal and customer systems.
- Update service trackers for planned preventative maintenance, commissioning activities, and fault tickets.
- Confirm parts availability and dispatch prior to scheduling work.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Weekly Activities
- Add commissioned assets and service agreements into company systems.
- Follow up outstanding actions with third-party suppliers and contractors.
- Review and manage overdue or incomplete service tickets.
- Complete customer-specific administrative tasks, including billing activities where required.

Profile
Essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational abilities.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Competent user of multiple IT systems and service management platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Good geographical knowledge to support efficient scheduling of field engineers.
- Reliable, proactive, and adaptable approach to work.
- Right to live and work in the UK.

Desirable
- Experience working within a service coordination, scheduling, or customer support environment.
- Experience supporting field-based engineering teams.
- Knowledge of EV charging, utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or technical service environments.
- Familiarity with CRM, ticketing, or field service management systems.
