Location: Duxford, Cambridgeshire (Onsite)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About The Role
We're looking for a proactive and organised Service Coordinator to join our team in Duxford. The main focus of this role is to coordinate the end-to-end management of servicing and repair activities, ensuring engineers, parts and resources are effectively planned to deliver excellent customer service. Working closely with customers, engineers and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring service work is completed efficiently, safely and to the highest standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating engineer diaries, labour, parts and resources to support the successful completion of service and repair work.
- Raising quotations and managing additional repairs identified through engineer reports, inspections and customer requests.
- Monitoring job progress, costs and service performance to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Supporting compliance with SMT GB's Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards.
- Reviewing technical reports and ensuring jobs, including warranty work, are administered and closed accurately.
- Supporting the Service Delivery Manager with resource planning, performance management and engineer development.
- Managing multiple priorities while striving to achieve operational KPI targets and deliver a consistent customer experience.

About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, dependable and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You'll be comfortable managing multiple tasks at once, communicating with a range of stakeholders, and working collaboratively to ensure service activities are completed efficiently and accurately.
You Will Ideally Have
- Experience in a service coordination, scheduling, planning or service administration role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally at all levels.
- Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- The ability to understand and interpret technical reports and mechanical terminology.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective resource management are essential.
Experience of invoice management, warranty claim, parts catalogues, or working within the engineering, construction equipment, automotive or other technical sectors would be advantageous.
