The Service Coordinator
The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing short-term service projects and service jobs for maritime and offshore customers. Acting as the central point of contact between customers, service engineers, sales, and spare parts teams, the role ensures efficient planning, execution, communication, and follow-up of service activities in line with operational, technical, and commercial objectives.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage service jobs from customer request through execution and completion, ensuring alignment with operational, technical, commercial, safety, and compliance requirements, including engineer mobilisation, travel arrangements, onboarding, and customer communication throughout the process.
- Prepare and issue service quotations, purchase orders, service reports, certificates, invoices, and related documentation, while maintaining accurate project records, job files, service databases, and cost tracking within company systems.
- Plan and schedule service activities, assign service engineers, and ensure availability and compliance of tools, test equipment, PPE, spare parts, training, certifications, medicals, and other operational requirements necessary for successful service execution.
- Act as the main customer contact for service progress, clarifications, remedial works, changes, urgent requests, follow-up activities, and coordination with internal departments including Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Finance, and Management teams.
- Monitor service timelines, upcoming maintenance requirements, costs, KPIs, profitability, and operational performance, while supporting continuous service delivery improvements, issue resolution, asset administration, and overall support to the Service Manager

- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple service activities simultaneously in an international environment.
- Good communication and customer service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and regions.
- Several years in an office-based position.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Team player and willing to learn.
