Position: Service Coordinator

Employment Type: Full-time/Permanent

Working hours: 5 days a week

Work Arrangement: Office Based

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the end-to-end service process, from initial customer contact and quotation through to order acceptance, service delivery, and job closure
  • Coordinating engineers worldwide to carry out the installation, repair, and support of company products
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for incoming service requests, including fault identification and issue logging
  • Providing customers with accurate updates and feedback on service activities and completed work
  • Collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to introduce support services for new products and maintain high-quality after-sales support
  • Building strong relationships with customers, parent companies, and dealers across the UK and international markets
  • Supporting the implementation of procedures to ensure accurate recording and effective management of departmental activities

Mandatory Requirements:

  • A degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent technical qualification in electrical/electronic engineering, computer systems, information technology, marine engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • A strong interest in electrical and electronic engineering, computer systems, and technology, combined with a commitment to continually expanding technical knowledge and skills
  • The ability to interpret technical documents and product specifications
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A proactive, customer-oriented approach to problem-solving

Preferrable Requirements:

  • Experience in service coordination, technical support, engineering, or customer support roles
  • Knowledge of marine electronics, navigation systems, or related technical products
  • Experience working in an international business environment
