About Us

We are Pramac, a Generac Company, leading the evolution to more resilient, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions. Established in 1966, we have always evolved, expanding our product portfolio and becoming the global benchmark for the production of generators and warehouse material handling equipment. Our diverse business lines ensure the company is a leading player in a wide variety of global markets.

Role Purpose

The Service Controller – UK & Ireland is responsible for the coordination, control, and communication of all service activity, acting as a primary point of contact for incoming service calls. The role ensures that customer enquiries and breakdown calls are answered promptly, logged accurately, prioritised correctly, and progressed efficiently, while coordinating field service resources across Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Generation, Tower Lights, and Materials Handling Equipment (MHE).

This role is critical to delivering a calm, professional, and responsive first impression when customers contact Pramac Generac for service support.

Why This Role Matters

The Service Controller is often the first voice a customer hears when something has gone wrong. By answering calls promptly, prioritising correctly, and coordinating service efficiently, this role directly influences customer confidence, service reputation, and repeat business. Done well, this role turns service calls into trust-building moments, not complaints.

  • Provide clear, calm, and professional communication, particularly during breakdowns or service issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
