Job Title: Service Coordinator
Location: Cross Hills, BD20
Hours: Full time, permanent position
Are you an organised and customer-focused administrator looking for a varied role within a busy service environment?
We are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join an established and growing team based in Cross Hills. This is a varied administrative position supporting the Service Manager, engineers and wider depot team, helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day service operations.
The successful candidate will be confident managing multiple priorities, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy communicating with customers and colleagues. Previous experience within an agricultural, engineering, vehicle, machinery or service environment would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
Key Responsibilities As Service Coordinator
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Service Department and Service Manager
- Answer incoming telephone calls and deal with customer enquiries promptly and professionally
- Respond to internal and external enquiries, providing a high standard of customer service
- Handle customer account enquiries, including payments, statements and related documentation
- Support financial administration, including banking, petty cash and regular reconciliations
- Prepare and process service documentation, checking work orders and records for accuracy
- Process warranty and product-related claims, ensuring documentation is completed accurately and claims are followed through to completion
- Support time and attendance administration, including holiday, sickness and absence records
- Review engineer time and job allocations
- Order stationery and general office supplies for the depot
- Carry out routine workplace checks and report any issues appropriately
- Support the wider team with general administration and any other reasonable duties as required

What We're Looking For As a Service Coordinator
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience within an administrative or customer service environment
- Confident managing multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Professional, approachable and customer-focused
- Comfortable communicating by telephone, email and in person
- Confident handling payments, financial administration and reconciliations
- Good IT skills with strong record-keeping and administrative ability
- Able to work independently while also being a supportive member of a wider team
- Proactive, reliable and able to take ownership of tasks through to completion
- Flexible and willing to support colleagues across the wider business
- Previous experience within an agricultural, engineering, vehicle, machinery or service environment would be advantageous
