Job Title: Technical Service Delivery Advisor

Location: Hybrid working, with two days per week at our Durrington office. Wednesday is the team day, with the second office day on Tuesday or Thursday.

Contract Type: 10-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to extend

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Salary: £28,554 per annum

About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Service Delivery Advisor to join our Developer Services team, providing a professional and responsive service to customers through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and administration.

You'll be helping customers navigate technical queries and applications, aiming to resolve enquiries right first time while keeping records, correspondence, and payments accurate and up to date. This is a varied role that combines telephone-based customer service with administrative and financial tasks, so you'll need to be comfortable switching priorities as customer and business needs change.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Developer Services and the wider business, using our systems confidently, keeping customers informed, and following through on commitments. Full training will be provided to build your knowledge of the water industry and our processes.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who is bright, adaptable, and keen to develop within a technical service environment. We welcome transferable experience from contact centres, administration, retail, banking, care, or other customer-facing settings.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Resolving customer enquiries at the first point of contact wherever possible, using the appropriate manner and tone
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, correspondence, applications, and payments accurately and efficiently
  • Navigating and updating supporting systems while communicating clearly with customers
  • Keeping track of customer priorities and following through on commitments
  • Working flexibly between telephone and administrative activities to meet customer demand and service levels
  • Achieving personal and team targets for service, quality, and customer contact
  • Working with other departments and routing enquiries appropriately to deliver the best possible service
  • Identifying problems and contributing ideas that improve processes and the customer experience
  • Supporting colleagues with knowledge sharing and training when required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
