Salary: up to £35,000 per annum. Dependant on Experience.
Vacancy Type: Full-time, Mon-Fri working hours 37.5 hours a week contract. Permanent salary.
At GreensafeIT, we are an IT recycler and supplier of IT services, having overseen more than 3 million devices throughout the IT lifecycle. As a result, we are perfectly placed to provide our customers with expert guidance and advice across this complex and fast-moving market.
We provide a comprehensive range of IT lifecycle services including IT spares and nationwide logistics, datacentre and office relocations, device configuration and builds, bonded stock solutions, on-site engineering support, project management services
We are looking for an experienced Service Delivery and Operations Manager with a strong technical background to lead the day-to-day delivery of our IT, engineering and technical services.
This is a hands-on operational leadership role requiring someone who understands technical environments, engineering processes and service delivery, as well as having the management capability to lead teams and drive performance.
You will be responsible for operational performance, production planning, technical service delivery, people leadership and KPI management, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to agreed quality and customer standards.

Working closely with Sales, ITAD Operations, Engineering, Warehouse, Finance, Customer Service and Senior Leadership, you will translate customer demand into effective operational plans, maximise technical throughput and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop technical, engineering and operational teams, driving performance, accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
- Manage daily technical workload, capacity, priorities and resources to ensure customer commitments and production targets are achieved.
- Oversee technical service delivery and production output, monitoring throughput, backlog, work in progress, capacity, quality and service levels.
- Act as an escalation point for technical and operational issues, identifying solutions and taking timely corrective action.
- Own operational KPIs, reporting and performance reviews, using data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with technical and operational teams to improve productivity, turnaround times, quality and customer outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to increase technical throughput, improve efficiency and maximise commercial value.
- Lead process improvement, root-cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives across technical and operational workflows.
- Ensure high standards of quality, health and safety, compliance and technical accuracy are maintained.
- Support business growth and new opportunities by providing insight into technical capability, capacity, costs, risks and deliverability.

Competencies And Behaviours
Technical experience is essential for this role.
We are looking for an experienced manager who has progressed within a technical, IT, engineering, ITAD, technical service delivery, hardware or similar environment and can demonstrate both technical understanding and strong operational leadership.
You Will Have
- Proven experience managing technical or engineering operations, IT services, technical production or service delivery.
- A strong understanding of technical workflows, processes, service delivery and operational requirements.
- Experience leading and developing technical teams, including performance management, coaching and workload planning.
- Experience managing KPIs, service levels, production targets, capacity and operational reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand technical issues and translate data.
