Service Delivery Director (Engineering) – Digital Employee Experience – Remote, UK
Ideal current roles, if you're a:

- DEX Engineer or Consultant (Nexthink, 1E, Tanium, ControlUp or similar)
- Endpoint Management Engineer (Intune / SCCM / Jamf)
Location: Remote, UK
Key requirements:
- 7+ years in enterprise endpoint, infrastructure or systems engineering
- Experience at scale — thousands of endpoints, ideally global
- Advanced PowerShell or Bash
- Depth across both Windows and macOS
- DEX platform experience preferred (Nexthink especially welcome)
Overview:
Amberes is partnering with a specialist Digital Employee Experience business working at the enterprise end of the market. Demand for complex DEX deployments across global customers is growing quickly, so they're hiring senior, hands-on engineers who can own the technical side of delivery. Despite the Director title, this is not a management role. It's a senior individual contributor position — you'll stay hands on the tooling.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Build and configure environments with scalability and performance in mind
- Integrate with the wider IT ecosystem — ServiceNow and other ITSM tools, plus automation workflows
- Write remediation scripts and automation logic
- Work alongside EUC, infrastructure, security and operations teams
- Troubleshoot complex deployment and integration problems
- Make sure the platform is embedded into BAU rather than left on a shelf

- DEX platforms — Nexthink, 1E, Tanium, ControlUp
