Service Delivery Driver – Class C+E
Location: ReFood UK Ltd, Widnes
Hours: 48 hours per week
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Licence: HGV Class C+E + Driver CPC + Digital Tachograph Card

We are now looking for an experienced Service Delivery Driver – Class C+E to join our team in Widnes.

The Role
As a Service Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for providing a safe, reliable, and professional waste collection service to our customers across the region.
You will be representing ReFood every day, so we are looking for someone who combines excellent driving standards with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
What You Will Be Doing
- Driving a range of HGV Class C+E vehicles, including articulated vehicles, bulk tippers and fridge boxes.
- Operating vehicle equipment such as bin lifts, tail lifts, and tipper bodies.
- Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks and reporting any issues.
- Ensuring vehicles and equipment are kept clean, safe, and serviceable.
- Completing driver, collection, and other required documentation accurately.
- Using an electronic PDA to record collections and complete operational requirements.
- Following safe procedures when tipping and unloading.
- Completing customer collections efficiently and professionally.
- Delivering excellent customer service and acting as a positive ambassador for ReFood.
- Working in accordance with all relevant Drivers' Hours, Working Time, health & safety, and company requirements.
- Working collaboratively with the Transport and Logistics team to ensure collections are completed efficiently.

What We Are Looking For
You will need:
- A full HGV Class C+E driving licence.
- A valid Driver CPC.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- A good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
- Previous experience driving Class C+E vehicles.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- The ability to organise and prioritise collections effectively.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and following procedures.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have:
- Previous experience in waste collection.
- Experience operating tippers, fridge boxes, curtainsiders or tankers.
Do not have experience with all of our specialist equipment? That is okay — relevant training will be provided.
